The Business Advisory Council was established in 2005 to help businesses understand how the changing healthcare environment impacts them and their employees. Representatives from various small, medium and large-sized businesses throughout Central Connecticut come together to specifically discuss how the Hospital can better provide for the health-related needs of the workforce and collaborate with businesses to provide the most effective health education.

Benefits of membership

The membership of the Business Advisory Council is extremely diverse, with representation from a wide number of industries including financial institutions, law firms, other healthcare organizations and more. Get a complete list of members.

Due to rising healthcare costs, as well as a workforce that is increasingly burdened by conditions that limit productivity, many topics of discussion focus on wellness in the workplace and ways to implement practices that will positively affect employees’ health and, as a result, the bottom line of your business.
