A graduate of Boston College, Dr. Cardon earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester and went on to complete an internal medicine residency program at Hartford Hospital, where she became board certified.

Eileen O’Regan, MD

Dr. Eileen O’Regan, a board certified internist, has been practicing medicine in Cheshire, CT for over 14 years. A graduate of the University of Scranton, Dr. O’Regan earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She then completed a residency and internship at The Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.

Deborah A. Molloy, MS, APRN

Deborah A. Molloy has more than 18 years of experience as an independently functioning primary care provider, with a gynecology specialty, and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. A graduate of Hartwick College, she has a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut.

Benish Hussain, MD

Women’s Primary Care Specialists

Benish Hussain, MD, specializes in Internal Medicine and practices with the Women’s Primary Care office in Wallingford. Dr. Hussain earned her Medical Degree from Bayero University, and went on to complete post-graduate training at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in New York. She has experience in general medicine, but also in the sub-specialties of intensive care, coronary care, and emergency medicine, strengthening her ability to care for a diverse patient population in her practice.

Shirley Samy, MSN, APRN

Primary Care Specialists - Yalesville

Shirley Samy, MSN, APRN, comes to MidState Medical Group with over 15 years of experience in the primary care setting. Prior to MidState, Shirley provided physical exams and primary care for a wide range of acute and chronic diseases in the Greater Waterbury area. She also has extensive experience in urgent care, having worked in the Emergency Departments at Waterbury Hospital, Middlesex Hospital, and the former Veterans Memorial Hospital in Meriden. Shirley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Western Connecticut State University, and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Yale University School of Nursing. She is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and continues to be a clinical preceptor for Yale University School of Nursing Graduate Program. She is a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from the U. S. Air Force Nurse Corps. Shirley has a special interest in health promotion and disease prevention.

Jill Aboulian, PA-C

Primary Care Specialists - Yalesville

Jill Aboulian, PA-C is a physician assistant with MidState Medical Group Primary Care Specialists. She has 10 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including primary care, emergency medicine and orthopedics, and has a special interest in women’s health. Jill came to MMG from Broadway Medical Group, LLC in North Haven, where she provided comprehensive primary care for acute needs and chronic illnesses. Prior to that, she managed both adult and pediatric patients in a busy suburban practice in South Carolina. Jill earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. She also holds an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy from Becker College in Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology/Physical Education from the University of Rhode Island. Jill is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
